Now that we’re in the second month of 2018, I’ve decided to really crack down on my goals for the year. It’s time to get my hustle on and create the life for myself I’ve always wanted.
People like to create resolutions or goals for the new year literally 5 minutes before the clock strikes 12. There’s no real planning involved; and without a proper plan of attack, there’s no way in hell you’ll ever accomplish your goals.
So I have spent all of January forming my plan of attack for the rest of the year. I know exactly what steps I need to follow and when in order to accomplish my goals.
To make things even more interesting, I’ve decided to share them with the world because I believe it will encourage me into actually accomplishing my goals if I’m being held accountable by someone other than myself.
Talk about pressure!
So without further ado… here are my goals I wish to accomplish by December 31, 2018.
I’m So Happy I Got to Quit My Job Forever
There’s no other way to say this. This is the most important goal on my list because I feel it serves as the foundation for the rest of my goals. My goal is to earn a full time income working from home, using the internet. I hope that by December 31, 2018 I will officially be self-employed and introducing myself as my own boss.
Life is all about transactions and the worst transaction I’ve ever made is exchanging my time for a paycheck.
That ends this year. I am going to work my ass off this year to build my brand as a blogger and influential marketer in order to earn the income I truly deserve; without having to miss out on family events and holidays because of work.
I’m working towards earning $10,000.00 by December 31, 2018 through my food blog, this blog, and investments.
I’m So Happy Wearing A Size Medium
I’ve struggled with staying at a healthy weight for quite some time now. Usually my goal is to lose 20 pounds or 40 pounds, but this time around, I’m rephrasing my goal.
Instead, I’m going to work towards becoming a size Medium instead of an XL.
This means that I’m going to be hitting the gym and getting plenty of exercise. I’m going to start eating healthy and drink plenty of water. Which means I’ll probably have to limit my alcohol intake.
The purpose of this goal isn’t just to look sexy… it’s to take care of myself so I can live a long life and enjoy the fruits of my labor.
I’m So Happy Driving A Black 2018 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve wanted this car. While this goal is obviously a materialistic one, it’s something I’ve wanted for a really long time.
Obviously I can afford this beauty of a car on my current salary; but my goal is to pay for it cash and not have to worry about monthly payments.
I’ve got my eye on you Jeep Wrangler. And I’m gonna get you. SOON.
I’m So Happy Making A Difference
I’ve always wanted to give back to those in need, but I’m always scared to donate to a greedy charity. I want my donations to actually benefit those that need it; not just their CEOs.
My goal is to help those less fortunate either by giving back financially or with my time.
My main focus would be children and animals. Why? Because they need a voice too.
As an animal lover, it pains me that so many people mistreat animals and then they end up in shelters waiting to be either adopted or put down. Well I wanna help as many animals as possible find a loving home.
As far as children go, I want to help those who are sick and those who are not getting the resources they deserve like education and food.
I Love Waking Up Happy
I’m not gonna lie, there’s a lot I have to be grateful for in my life right now, but I also know there’s room for improvement.
I know that accomplishing these goals is what’s gonna give me what I want most out of life; and it’s something we ALL want.
And that is to wake up happy every single day. I want to wake up with a smile on my face every morning because I love my Jeep that’s parked outside my house. I want to wake up with a smile because I know Pitbulls aren’t being killed in illegal dog fights anymore. I want to wake up with a smile because I know that my bills are paid and I don’t have to clock in anywhere ever again.
Now It’s YOUR Turn
Since I’ve shared my goals for 2018 with you, it’s only fair that you share yours. I’d love to hear what your goals for this year are and how you hope to accomplish them.
This is a great exercise because it’ll give me accountability for your goals.
That’s it for today folks!
Make sure to check in from time to time so you can see my updates on my goals.
See you at the top,
